Accrual of PTO (Paid Time Off) starts on the day of hire. Employees accrue a max of 40 hours of vacation during the first year of service, 80 hours after two years of service, and up to 200 hours (5 weeks) after twenty years of service.
Company-sponsored health insurance is available on the 1st of the month following 60 days of service. Cox employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance.
Full time employees receive five standard paid holidays per year, with additional days added based on performance.
401(K) Profit Sharing/Retirement Plan (Part-time included)
Cox offers a matched-contribution 401(K) program to all employees, including part-time.
Employees that refer a new employee can receive up to a $400 bonus, as well as a catered lunch for the referring employee’s department.

Cox employees that seek to enhance their professional skills can attend local Fred Pryor seminars at no charge. Department-specific topics such as payroll law and financing are available, as well as crash-courses applicable to everyone, such as leadership, communication, and business writing.
Tooling U-SME: Manufacturing Training Online Access
Our Apprenticeship Program utilizes the free online classes available from Tooling U-SME, but you don’t need to be a machinist to access them. Any employee can review the classes to learn more what makes the industry tick.
Apprentice Program in Partnership with Wayland University and the US Department of Labor
Our Apprenticeship Program is certified and registered with the Department of Labor. We’ve also partnered with Wayland Baptist University to offer the equivalent of 33 college credit hours towards an industry degree—in most cases, these hours also transfer to credit at other institutions, too.
College Tuition Reimbursement
We currently offer 100% reimbursement for college tuition in books for classes relevant to an approved degree in your field, no matter what position you hold.

All new employees are encouraged to attend Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a 10-lesson weekly course completely paid for by Cox, to learn how to never worry about money again. Sessions are held locally in a small group setting for community, motivation, and accountability.
Weekly Life Learner Luncheons
