Every December, Cox Mfg hosts a "Breakfast With Santa" and open house for families of employees. This Saturday morning event gives employees the opportunity to show their friends and families what they do at work every day. The morning consists of a full breakfast provided by Cox, a tour of the shop, and a guest appearance by Santa Claus.
This year, employees invited parents, children, and more, with a total of approximately 170 individuals here to celebrate the Christmas season. Families shared a breakfast of muffins, eggs, and bacon served by Human Resources department "elves" in our recently built two-story tool room and break room building, while Christmas music played and photos of past Breakfast With Santa events scrolled in the background. Soon after, Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, much to the delight of the children. Attendees were invited to sit with Santa for free photos and children received goodie bags.
After breakfast, family members and friends were offered employee-led shop tours.
