Fifth Machinist Graduates from Cox Apprenticeship Program

Kahlin Koertner became the fifth apprentice to graduate from the Cox Apprenticeship Program.

Kahlin Koertner graduated from the Apprenticeship Program, making him the first apprentice to graduate in 2019 and the fifth to graduate since the establishment of the program. Since he was hired in the summer of 2014, Kahlin has become experienced running both Tornos multi-spindle and CNC Swiss-style Tsugami lathes, most recently gaining expertise on toolmaking in Cox Mfg's in-house tool room.

With Kahlin's achievement comes the sought-after increased pay, bonus vacation, and recognition by the United States Department of Labor that all apprentices currently enrolled in the program get to look forward to.

Congratulations, Kahlin Koertner!
