Members of the PMPA Technical Committee toured Cox Mfg, a longtime member of the international organization.
The Precision Machined Products Association ("PMPA") is an international trade association representing the interests of the precision machined products industry, comprised of over 3,000 companies. Cox Manufacturing has been a proud active member of PMPA since 1959. PMPA's Technical Committee, fellow suppliers of manufacturing-related goods for the machined products industry, visited the Cox Mfg facility on Monday, October 21 to gain some insight on the Company's leading-edge Manufacturing 4.0 software and standardization.
Cox Manufacturing CEO/President Bill Cox provided the committee with the history and evolution of the company since 1956, leading into the preparations for the fourth Industrial Revolution--Manufacturing 4.0. Mr. Cox lef the group on a tour around the facility and demonstrated the completely in-house software application used to interface with the CNC machines, providing real-time data collection accessible from anywhere in the facility.
