Business Ethics, Sourcing, and Conflict Minerals Policy

Cox Manufacturing Company is a custom job shop engaged in the business of producing machined parts for a variety of customers and OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

  1. Cox is committed to sourcing materials and services from other companies who share our values concerning human rights, bribery, corruption, business ethics, environmental awareness, and social responsibility.  We require our suppliers to comply with all applicable law, legal standards, and common business requirements.
  2. Cox may also use suppliers who have been validated and approved by our end customers.  We consider these suppliers to be fully qualified under the umbrella of the end user’s qualification process.
  3. Cox supports the goal of ending violence, human rights violations, and environmental destruction in those countries listed in the Conflict Minerals Rule, Section 1502 of the 2012 Dodd-Frank Act, and we expect our suppliers to comply with the applicable requirements under this legislation.
  4. Cox is not responsible for the accuracy of information contained in or the data not included on a supplier's certificate of conformance for goods or services.
